Repairs of Metering Devices

We have repaired machine construction metering devices, mainly length and angle metering systems, since the foundation of our company. Originally, we used to deal with repairs of meters manufactured by the domestic manufacturer SOMET. With regard to the continuously growing share of foreign made meters in the Czech market, we have adapted ourselves and we have gradually established contacts with manufacturers or direct importers of brands Mitutoyo, Tesa, Mahr, Kroeplin and others in order to be able to get genuine spare parts. At the time being, we can repair metering systems manufactured by an overwhelming majority of manufacturers available in our market.

• Callipers and depth gauges (digital, with a dial, vernier callipers)
  repair/replacement of electronic systems or possible replacement of digital meter meander, repair of dial meter mechanism, adjustment and setting of the operation of all types, grinding and possible re-lapping of metering surfaces. Replacement of defective parts.
• Micrometers  and other micrometric systems (digital, analogue)
  machine lapping of metering surfaces of micrometers with standard contact diameter 8 mm (6.35 mm and other) and “plate” contact up to the default metering range of 1000 mm. Setting of the operation of the micrometric screw, setting of the reading of electronic meters including repairs and replacement of electronic parts. Replacement of defective parts.
• Indicating snap gauges and adjustable snap gauges
  machine lapping of metering surfaces of standard diameter and “plate” surfaces or large one of other shape, up to the default metering range of 1000 mm. Setting of the operation of the meter and repair of the indicating system of the meter both analogue and digital. Replacement of defective parts.
• Indicators (direct, lever, precise with a torsion tape, analogue or digital)
  standard one hundred percent replacement of worn measuring inserts, repair of mechanisms with the setting of fluent operation of the machine for toothed meters. Repair/replacement of the sensing head or electronic parts of digital meters. Replacement of torsion tape of comparative precision indicators (somcators, microcators, opticators). Replacement of defective spare parts.
• Gauge for Internal Measurements and thickness gauges (micrometric, two to three contact systems, with centring and indicators - subito, with arms) replacement of damaged metering surfaces/arms, setting of the operation of the micrometric screw, repair of the reader (indicator and any integral toothed system or electronic sensing head). Replacement of defective spare parts.
• Height Gauges (with nonius, dial, digital)
  setting of the operation and uprightness of the meter against the basis, repair/replacement of the inserts, repair of metering mechanism of both toothed and electronic systems. Replacement of defective parts.
• Angle gauges (with nonius, dial, digital)
  Repair of the metering mechanism and setting of the operation, replacement of the magnifier and other defective parts.

• Profile projectors
  General cleaning of the machine, possibly replacement of mirror or focussing screen, lenses adjustment, replacement if necessary, repair of the micrometric table. Check up metering by a length scanning and glass gauge, issuance of a metering protocols
• SPS Tool Setters
  General cleaning of the system, replacement of cages, setting of the uprightness and alignment, adjustment of the lighting source and projector or, their replacement as the case may be. In the event of a defect of the optical reading box FAE 4 (SOD 200), it may be repaired in out shop. We normally supply lighter lamps and optical reading boxes. Check up metering and issuance of metering protocol.
• SDJ Tool setters
  General cleaning of the system, setting of the uprightness, adjustment of the transversal unit and setting of the alignment, setting of reading gauges, setting of the optical reading box FEA4. In the event of a defect of the optical reading box FEA4, it may be repair in our shop. We supply lamps to the optical reading box. Check up metering and issuance of metering protocol.
• Three coordinate measuring Machines
  General cleaning of the system, check of lines, replacement of damaged cages and balls or replacement for new carriage cages, setting of the alignment of the bridge and the base, setting uprightness of quill, replacement based repair of sensing units IME 2VM and IRC, replacement based repair of indications NS 113. Check up metering and issuance of metering protocol.
• Winding machines
  Any repair should be consulted in advance

• Manufacture of special and adjusted contacts of various design for indicators, thickness gauges and the like.
• Adjustment and manufacture of metering devices as required by customers.

• Meters may be picked at customer´s facility and shipped for repair (to be agreed in advance in the event of a higher number of units or bulky material)
• Calibration of meters after the repair = time saving
• In the event the repair would not pay back it is no feasible, the customer may buy a new meter
